Heat some oil in a pan and cook ground beef for about 4-5 minutes on each side.
Place buns in a separate pan for a minute or so until they turn slightly golden.
Once the beef patties are cooked, add cheese slices on top of them and let them melt for a minute or two.
Place the cooked patty on the bottom half of the bun, and add lettuce leaves, tomato slices, onion slices, and pickles, if desired.
Spread some ketchup and mustard on the top half of the bun, and place it over the assembled ingredients.
