**Introduction**
Hello, I'm the stage director Backstage.
**Today's Topic**
Today's theme is "going viral."
Why this theme? Well, there was a hashtag theme about the pros and cons of going viral, so I thought I’d share my most listened-to broadcast episodes and the memories associated with them.
**Content**
To give you the conclusion first: People want to listen to a valuable 10-minute broadcast!
So, I checked the analytics of my broadcasts.
On Voicy, you can see detailed statistics about how many people listened to your broadcasts. You can see the number of new listeners, follower activity rates, new listener return rates, and even where listeners drop off in each episode.
This time, I focused on total listener numbers.
Instead of looking at the number of broadcasts, which would correlate with the number of chapters and wouldn't allow for an accurate comparison, I ranked the episodes based on the number of listeners.
Here’s the ranking:
### 3rd Place: "Work Relationships Don’t Improve, So Change Your Environment Quickly!"
This was one of my early broadcasts, the 23rd episode, so I was still a novice host.
The idea was that in the theatre industry, the workplace changes every 2-3 months.
This means relationships change as well, and if relationships aren’t going well, your work performance suffers. Even if you think it’s your fault, changing environments can surprisingly improve things.
Trying hard to change human relationships often doesn’t work, so it’s more effective to change your environment.
My thinking hasn’t changed much. Some people you just don’t get along with, while others you do. However, I’ve realized that people tend to become complacent when they get used to an environment. We all want to work in comfortable places, but over time, even an environment we once admired can lead to laziness. So, I think it’s important to keep changing environments.
### 2nd Place: "Fun English Learning with Recommended YouTubers"
This was exactly what the title suggests: a list of YouTubers who helped me with my English studies.
Recently, I haven’t been studying with YouTubers much because ChatGPT is more efficient.
Watching a YouTuber's video on “10 Useful Business English Phrases” involves a 30-second ad and a 1-minute self-promotion, which wastes time. In contrast, ChatGPT can teach me in 3 seconds and even provide pronunciation. The future of English learning is ChatGPT, definitely.
### 1st Place: "Daiso Products That Impressed Me"
Yes, my top broadcast has nothing to do with theatre. It’s about a Daiso flavored egg maker. It’s head and shoulders above the rest. I have no idea why it’s so popular—maybe it’s just easy to click on?
So, I analyzed my broadcasts after a long time.
It made me reflect on how my recent broadcasts have been more self-centered.
When I first started, I was desperate to think about what kind of broadcast would be meaningful to everyone.
As time passed, I realized that I couldn’t deliver valuable content every day, so I started broadcasting what I wanted to.
But those broadcasts don’t get as many listeners. Continuing to broadcast even if it doesn’t go viral is important, but if it’s too self-centered, people won’t listen.
I need to keep adjusting the balance.
**Summary**
To reiterate the conclusion: People want to listen to a valuable 10-minute broadcast!
When I click on someone’s Voicy broadcast, I have the same expectation.
What about you? What kind of broadcasts do you want to listen to?
That's about it for today.
